New Features

Multi-factor authentication (MFA)

Add an extra layer of security to your Host Tools account. Enable MFA from your profile settings and use any authenticator app (like Google Authenticator or Authy) to verify your identity when signing in.

Unbookable nights indicator

Your calendar now shows a warning icon on nights that cannot be booked because of minimum night requirements. For example, a two-day gap between reservations with a three-night minimum will be flagged as unbookable, so you can adjust your settings to fill those gaps.

Resolutions tab in Airbnb Quality Dashboard

The Quality Dashboard now includes a Resolutions tab where you can view and address active issues flagged by Airbnb across your listings.

Mark inbox threads as unread

Need to come back to a conversation later? Mark any inbox thread as unread so it stays visible in your unread filter. Available on both web and mobile.

“Checked-out” badge in inbox

Quickly identify guests who have already checked out. A “Checked Out” badge now appears on completed reservations in your inbox, complementing the existing “Currently Staying” badge.

See which team member sent each message

If you use multi-user management, you can now see which team member sent each message in the inbox. This helps you track communication and maintain accountability across your team.

Filter inbox by minimum payout

Find high-value reservations faster by filtering your inbox by minimum host payout amount.

Google Analytics and Tag Manager for direct booking sites

Track visitor behavior and measure conversions on your direct booking site by adding your Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager ID.

Canceled reservations in CSV export

Your reservation CSV export now includes canceled reservations, giving you a complete picture of all booking activity for your records and accounting.

Link listings from the lock settings page

You can now link a smart lock to one or more listings directly from the lock settings page, without having to navigate to each listing’s settings individually.

Message rules count in listing group headers

Listing group headers now display the number of listings and message rules in each group, with quick-access buttons to navigate directly to the message rules for that group.

AI citations in responses

AI-suggested replies now include citations showing where the information came from, so you can verify the source before sending.

Lock events in your inbox timeline

Your inbox now shows lock-related events, such as when a guest code is set or a door is unlocked, alongside other reservation events in the conversation timeline.

VRBO and Booking.com reviews via API

Partners and integrators can now access guest reviews from VRBO and Booking.com through the Host Tools API, in addition to the existing Airbnb review support.

Improvements

Channel IDs visible in Settings

Your channel user IDs and property IDs are now displayed on the Settings > Listings page (under each channel icon) and the Settings > Channels page (under each email address). This makes it easier to identify accounts when contacting support or troubleshooting.

  • Find it: Settings > Listings or Settings > Channels

Search when importing listings

The import listings page now includes a search field, so you can quickly find the listing you want to connect when you have many listings on a channel.

Auto-populate Booking.com property field on reconnect

When reconnecting a Booking.com account, the property ID field is now automatically populated and disabled, preventing accidental changes.

Avatar and read receipts on mobile app

The mobile app now shows sender avatars and “read by” indicators on messages, matching the web experience.

Improved pet fee selection

The pet fee selection UI has been redesigned to make it clearer and easier to configure different fee structures for your listings.

iPad date picker

On iPad, the calendar date picker now appears as a dropdown below the date field instead of at the bottom of the screen.

Quick replies improvements

Quick replies now have a better empty state when no replies exist.

Dynamic message input height

The message composer in the inbox now dynamically adjusts its height as you type, so you can see more of your message without manual resizing.

Unique page titles

Every page in Host Tools now has a unique browser tab title (e.g., “Calendar – Host Tools”, “Inbox – Host Tools”), making it easier to find the right tab when you have multiple open.
