Guest Ranger is an ideal answer to common challenges hosts face, such as fraudulent bookings, property damage, chargebacks, last-minute cancellations, and more.
What services does Guest Ranger offer?
Guest Ranger provides three main services: guest screening, damage and chargeback protection, and a flexible cancellation program. We’ll dive deeper into each of these three services below.

How to integrate your Host Tools account with Guest Ranger
Follow these easy steps to get your accounts linked and ready for business:
- Go to the Guest Ranger Settings page.
- Under Integrations, you’ll see Host Tools.
- Click Connect. This will open a new tab and redirect you to Host Tools.
- If you are not logged in, Host Tools will ask you to sign in first.
- After signing in, you’ll see a consent prompt saying that Guest Ranger wants access to your Host Tools account, including the requested permissions/scopes.
- Click Approve to grant Guest Ranger access.
- Once access is granted, you’ll be redirected back to Guest Ranger and should see a success message.
- After that, new reservations from Host Tools should automatically sync into Guest Ranger.
